for those of you not familiar, hank williams jr.’s song, “all my rowdy friends,” has opened monday night football for 20 years. however, tonight, espn chose not to open the show in the familiar manner due to comments williams made on fox news. wonder what bocephus’s view was of the relationship between reagan and tip o’neill? in defending his asinine comments, williams stated, “every time the media brings up the tea party, it’s painted as racist and extremists — but there’s never a backlash, no outrage to those comparisons . . . working class people are hurting . . . something has to change. The policies have to change.” so, i guess bocephus is saying that the tea party outrage is economics-based and that all the charges of racism are unfair. okay, hank, i hear ya. but perhaps hank, who has apparently stated that he would run for senate as a republican in 2012, can explain precisely which policies he would like to see changed and how. after all, in 1982, bocephus was trashing reaganomics.
